Centralised and streamlined management across multiple web assets creating efficiency and addressing technical debt.
Undertaking a high level review of Wodonga Council’s digital footprint we identified several opportunities to consolidate satellite sites that were the result of organic growth and a lack of flexibility in the legacy council website. This included ‘Have Your Say’, ‘Newsroom’ and ‘Wodonga Major Projects’. We were also able to centralise and consolidate all event and news content that can now be broadcast to any Wodonga Council website portal from a central source.
The introduction of a navigation bar across the top of the website has beautifully unified all of the Wodonga Council websites as they have been rebuilt on the DNN platform. All council websites will feature this intuitive global navigation system providing express navigation to all of council’s digital assets.
