We first connected with Herbie’s Spices in 1999 when they joined a marketplace platform we developed for provedores.
Over the years Web Matrix has delivered several iterations of the website for Herbie’s, each outperforming the last.
The opportunities were obvious, we needed to build the tools that helped customers find Herbie’s when they’re searching for a spice, then make it easy for them to purchase.
We analysed the data and planned and built out a website on WordPress to showcase the rich content Herbie’s has developed over many years. Maintaining and building on Herbie’s existing SERP was a central focus, ensuring rankings were improved and not dropped.
The result is a best-in-class ecommerce website for retailing premium spices that dominates the search results for anything spice related in Australia. Of course, this new website has also delivered higher conversions and impacted sales dramatically.
